Operational Updates – ZKcandy Mainnet Launches
iCandy Interactive Limited (ASX:ICI) (“iCandy” or the “Company”) wishes to provide the following business updates:
ZKCandy Mainnet Launches
iCcandy is pleased to announce that its Web3 Layer 2 network joint venture, ZKcandy, has launched its mainnet chain. ZKcandy is an AI-enabled Entertainment Chain network powered by ZKsync and iCandy Interactive.
A “mainnet” is the primary blockchain network where actual transactions take place using live network. This launch marks the transition from the testnet phase to a live, operational environment. ZKCandy had a successful testnet phase saw strong user engagement with more than 2.4 million wallets created.
The successful mainnet launch follows ZKcandy completing a US$4 million seed funding round (as previously announced on 8 January 2025), attracting investment from notable entities including Wemix Pte. and Animoca Ventures.
ZKcandy is building a next-generation AI-enabled entertainment ecosystem that offers:
- Immersive and engaging gameplay
- Interoperability of in-game assets
- AI-driven enhancements to NPCs, storylines, and player experiences
- A mobile-first approach to cater to the rapidly expanding global mobile gaming market
The launch is supported by a collaboration with Layer3, a leading Web3 launchpad focused on user acquisition and rewards, where users can earn rewards by completing in-game tasks.
This announcement has been approved for release by the Board of iCandy Interactive Limited.
